Here is a chance to use all of those fun batik fabrics you have been saving. Free form cutting allows us to create curved blocks, wild angles and fun blocks. This class will teach you to work without a planned seam allowance. This makes a dramatic quilt.

Learn to use your new Bernina sewing machine! We offer classes every week to new owners of machines purchased at Thimble Towne. In 1997, Loraine Torrence started a year long workshop in design essentials. She has now put the classes into book form. The goal of these classes is to develop both your artistic skills following your own personal vision and to work within the group to evaluate and critique the work. No work will be done in class. Using the book as a guide we will meet once a month for evaluation and inspiration. Are you ready to create? This class will be limited to 8 students who want to commit to all 10 lessons.

If you attended the Ricky Timm’s Seminar in Rockland and now you want to do the technique he taught, free cut curves ribbons, set in corners and circles, this is the class for you. This is a technique class only we will not be making a quilt. You will have samples to keep for future reference.
